For me, and a number of other people, the number of spirits who can be communicated and work with grows. We do not have the limitations of one Holy Guardian Angel. Why can we do this and not other western magicians?
The Holy Guardian Angel is a concept that appears in the AbraMelin book, a classic western magical document that is still used and abused by magicians today. Why was AbraMelin written? To understand this, you have to know that the entire western magic corpus is medieval, based upon kabbalistic texts written in the 11th-12th century in Spain and Southern France. These Jewish texts were published by the authorities because they were propaganda tools intended to convert Jews to Christianity – Jesus was predicted in the Talmud, so the story goes. Now, Jesus is the one and only Saviour of the World – there can be no other intercessor. Communicating with Spirits, especially the pantheons like the Goetia (now known as the Jinn) is suspect – could the magician be secretly worshipping these spirits? And idolatry is verboten (unless of course it is an image of Jesus bleeding on the Cross).
There is the conundrum. You are the unknown Abramelin author who wants to keep the ancient knowledge of spiritual powers alive in Orwellian Europe under thrall of Rome. What do you do? Only Jesus is acknowledged as the Supreme Arbiter of the Universe, but you know that there are other ways. You create a ritual of staggering complexity and length. It takes six months of dedication to do the Abramelin ritual properly, with the help of friends as you pray in seclusion. Lets have a circle with Divine Names inscribed on the perimeter to keep the pesky spirits from invading your space. Now, there can only be one spirit at a time – lets call him your Holy Guardian Angel, which immediately elevates the status of the spirits. Add a few extras and you will have something that gets past the censors and is vaguely Christian.
Spirits smarter than Abramelin
Unfortunately, the spirits are not stupid. They are not anything like the way they are portrayed in Abramelin. They are intelligent, advanced, not in the least interested in Jesus. If the spirits have been around for millions of years, why would they take an interest in an upstart who appeared 2,000 years ago? Now, that is not to say that they do not respect the Prophets. They do. They do not have to be invoked, or evoked.
One Saviour, One Spirit
Just as there is only one Saviour, our Lord Jesus Christ, it follows that there can only be one Spirit, who is transmogrified into the Holy Guardian Angel. Once we see through this deception, we are free to spend time with Spirits ignored for millennia. Jesus is a Prophet, and I acknowledge Him, just as Moslems do.
If you want to progress spiritually, and take part in the Great Work, abandon all conceptions of Abramelin, and start seeing the spirits as they are. Leave behind magical weapons, magical circles and all that redundant paraphernalia, and live in the now.
I really find useful all this posts/ articles related to the goetia spirits… and could be really nice if you can give some advices to work with them… I know there are many on the internet but all of them share this view like here in this site… thanks

Better than the Abramelin ritual? Then merely proceed to go on a rant about Jesus, Jews and spirits having been around for millions of years (clearly a guess as even Bune only claims to be 100,000)
Have any of the people running this site ever done a ritual or is it just a lot of guessing, as the people who complete the 6 month long and extremely arduous Abramelin ritual are a handful and are granted powers that not even you could imagine, but once you have such power you are complete and hence a living physical spirit
